Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern the Dial Player application (the "application").
1. Nature of the application
Dial Player is solely a media player. The application does NOT provide, include, sell, or distribute channels, broadcasters, movies, playlists, or audiovisual content of any kind, and it does not come with any content source configured.
2. User content
All content played comes exclusively from the playlists and programme guides (EPG) that you add. You are solely responsible for holding the rights and authorizations required for that content and for how you use it. Do not use the application to play content without the authorization of its owner.
3. Purchases and Premium features
Purchases or subscriptions unlock only additional features of the application itself (convenience, organization, and automation). Under no circumstances does a purchase grant access to channels, playlists, or content of any kind.
4. Third-party content
The fact that a third-party playlist or service can be played in the application does not imply any relationship, endorsement, or recommendation by the developer. The availability, legality, and quality of those services are outside the application's control.
5. License
You are granted a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the application on your devices. You may not redistribute, resell, or modify it, except as permitted by law.
6. No warranty
The application is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the application, including the content you play with it.
8. Indemnification
You agree to hold the developer harmless against third-party claims arising from the content you add to the application or from your breach of these terms.
9. Copyright
If you believe that content accessible through a playlist added by a user infringes your rights, contact the provider of that playlist. You may also write to support@dialplayer.com and, where appropriate, we will remove the references that are under our control.
10. Privacy
Your settings (playlists, guide, and preferences) are stored locally on the TV and are not shared with third parties. Playlists and guides are downloaded directly from the URLs you configure.
11. Termination
You may stop using the application and delete its data at any time from settings. Breach of these terms may result in revocation of the license.
12. Changes to the terms
These terms may be updated in future versions of the application. Significant changes will be shown again for acceptance.
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remainder will retain full validity and effect.
